The 2027 Rising Scholars Doctoral Success Institute Symposium: From Research to Results — Advancing Scholarship, Leadership & Impact is an intensive educational experience designed for doctoral learners, emerging scholars, graduates, educators, and professionals seeking practical strategies to strengthen their academic, research, and professional success.
Unlike a traditional conference, the Doctoral Success Institute is intentionally focused on learning, application, and progress. There are no keynote addresses, formal ceremonies, or lengthy general sessions. Instead, participants will spend their time engaging in interactive workshops, hands-on learning opportunities, and scholar-focused sessions led by experienced educators, researchers, doctoral professionals, and industry experts.
Programming will address critical areas of the doctoral and professional journey, including academic writing, dissertation development and alignment, research methodology, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, ethical use of artificial intelligence in research, working effectively with dissertation committees, publishing scholarly research, leadership development, professional branding, consulting, teaching, and leveraging the doctoral degree for greater career and community impact.
Participants will have opportunities to select sessions that align with their individual needs and stage of development—from those beginning their doctoral journey to candidates actively completing their dissertations, as well as graduates and professionals seeking to expand the impact of their education and expertise.
The Institute will also incorporate practical Scholar Labs, where participants can move beyond simply listening to presentations and begin applying what they learn to their own research, writing, academic challenges, and professional goals.

The 2027 Doctoral Success Institute will serve as a focused educational experience between Rising Scholars Inc.'s signature Doctoral Learners Conference & Gala events, with the full conference experience returning in 2028.
